Welcome to my SDPI Blog! Here you will find my process for creating review movies for my classes. My goal is to incorporate self-created review and enhancement videos into each unit. By addressing this goal, student learning will improve because the videos will provide further information about the topic covered, offer review information and also provide immediate information for those absent. I have chosen this goal so that I may effectively enhance the lessons that I provide in class for students present for the lesson and those that were absent for the lesson.

My goals relate specifically to Domain 1 (planning and preparation) and Domain 3 (instruction).

For my SDPI plan, I will incorporate self-created review and enhancement videos into each unit. In order to accomplish my goal, I will:

• Attend PDP courses/workshops/conferences on technology enhancing programs
• Consult with Jeannine Ortiz (technology liaison) who has expertise in incorporating technology into her classroom
• Create at least 2 videos/quarter that enhance the lessons that I provide in class
• Blog about 3 times a month about the production of my video
• Create and use a video outline for the creation of an educational video that can be used school-wide
• Create, administer, and analyze data from a survey instrument measuring the effectiveness of this tool from the students' points of view
